Gulf Beach #101 is one of only 14 all Gulf front condos located in this complex near the quiet East End of Sanibel Island. Gulf Beach is convenient to the fishing pier, lighthouse and restaurants along Periwinkle Way. A very popular location, this is a first-living level (one floor above a reserved parking space with access by stairs or elevator). This corner condo is unique as it has views of both the heated pool and the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy Gulf views and breezes from your private glassed-in lanai which can open to screens. This unit has 3 flat screen TV’s, Blu-ray DVD player and Wi-Fi. Beach equipment is provided for your use (stored on lanai). Complex amenities include: covered parking, a community heated pool, elevator and gas grills. Gulf Beach is a smoke-free complex.

The location of this unit is excellent with a view of the pool and the ocean. The unit is in good shape. We had some minor inconveniences such as the AC maintenance company coming by to maintain the AC while we were there. While this was not a big deal, they should do this when the unit is not in use. Also, there were a couple of sinks that did not drain well like the master bathroom and the kitchen small sink. Again, not a big deal but they should be taken care of.

We rented 3 condos in the same complex. Worked out great! My mom usesa walker and the grab handles in the bathroom, elevator, glassed in porch made her stay much easier. Would totally recommend the unit!

We had to wash dishes so that we could use them. There was mold growing in a glass. The roll away bed doesn't pull out, a piece of wood fell into a drawer making it impossible to to open the drawer. There were a few other issues that were corrected while we were there.

We loved our stay we have stayed at GB 101 for several years now! It’s clean and the kitchen is well stocked. We did find it didn’t cool as much as it should. Could be that we are used to sleeping under ceiling fans and there are none in the condo. Problem solved we purchased a box fan and left there for other guest to use when staying! It would be nice if the refrigerator had an ice maker but we made do. It’s in a Great location with an incredible view! We will be back next year! Thank you to the owners for sharing your slice of heaven!

The location was great. Just a short walk to the beach, of which 1/2 of the walk was on a boardwalk. The condo was clean however to be completely honest,there were roaches that were seen in the kitchen and one bathroom. That issue was reported and hopefully taken care of. The kitchen was fairly well stocked but not very many leftover containers, if you plan on eating in. Also reported to Sanibel Holiday was a shower curtain liner that needed replaced. I would stay there again if the roach problem was remedied.

My husband and I finally took our honeymoon after 3 years of marriage. I have stayed at this complex at least 5x growing up, but never stayed in unit 101. Wow, was I missing out! With a view of the pool and the ocean, you can’t go wrong. Everything was well kept, maintained, worked properly, and most importantly, clean. Sanibel Holiday is the only company we will book through going forward on our trips to the island.

Property was not practical. Bathrooms were unsafe and outdated.
Master bedroom does not have dresser drawers. Had to spend the week living off suitcase and chair. Closets filled to the rim with unnecessary items. Kitchen cabinets filled, hard to accommodate anything, and garbage was 7 feet away from sink and stove. Very uncomfortable all around. Beds in guest bedroom no good.. overall, very disappointed. Will never rent there again, or refer anyone.����. Overall clean. Property managers office, very professional and pleasant.

When on vactaion, we like to sleep in in the AM. Unfortunately the master bedroom window did not have a curtain or a blind to block the early morning sun. A great feature if you want to rise with the sun. Angie Starbird was great

We can completely agree with wanting to catch a little extra sleep while on up with the sun is not exactly our idea of relaxing! I will certainly mention this to the owner in hopes they will add blinds or curtains. Thanks for the shout out! I love helping wherever I can!!

We enjoyed Sanibel. The condo needs bathroom renovations, they are also very small. The second bedroom had a bed wedged up against the closet door, which made it nearly impossible to open or use. For a property in this price range, quality beach chairs (they were very rickety and CVS quality, probably left by a previous guest), beach towels (we had to buy some) and a gas barbeque grill at the pool (vs. charcoal grill in the brush outside the parking lot) should be included.

Only 14 units in this building. Quiet end of Sanibel by the lighthouse. End unit overlooking pool and Gulf. The unit itself needs updating, compared to other units in the area and even the same building but you can't beat the location.

Condo close to restaurants, bit further from the lighthouse than expected from a walking perspective

Gulf Beach is a nicely located, small and intimate Gulf-facing complex on East Gulf Drive, and it is close to east end restaurants. Our best guess is the lighthouse is about three-quarters of a mile along the beach, although it could be less. We do hope you enjoyed your stay and that you will come back to visit us.

This was a lovely and clean unit in a very quiet location with a nice ocean view. Although it is right next to the pool, it was very quiet and pool guests did not disturb us. The bike trails give a great option to driving to restaurants and shops. The beach was very pretty , not crowded and great for shell gathering. Really enjoyed our stay.

We were delighted with our recent stay at Gulf Beach 101. The condo is a corner unit, thereby having extra windows and light, which is a bonus. The location of the beach-front condo was fantastic for us and the size of the heated pool was superb. We would definitely stay there again.
