Description

Located on the West End of Sanibel Island, this tropical beachfront condominium complex is perfect for romance and relaxation or a fun family vacation. D45 is a beautifully decorated, top-floor unit with a private rooftop sundeck, ideal for enjoying the view and watching breathtaking sunsets! Enjoy preparing meals in the large, open, updated kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The owner has now provided a Keurig coffee maker. The spacious master bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower and large soaking tub. The guest room has a double and twin size bed and is just a few steps away from the updated guest bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The owner provides TV’s in each room and a DVD player. From your 4th floor screened lanai you can enjoy gulf breezes and views over the tropical lagoon, heated pool, hot tub and clubhouse. The clubhouse offers restrooms for your convenience and there is a recreation room where daily children activities are held. Enjoy a casual picnic using the gas BBQ grills around the lagoon, strike up a tennis match on the tennis courts, or try your luck at a shuffleboard game. Pointe Santo de Sanibel has 141 units situated in a U-Shape looking out to the Gulf of Mexico. All buildings provide elevators and wireless internet access throughout the complex. Beach chairs and an umbrella are provided for your convenience. Per Pointe Santo de Sanibel's Condo Association Parking Policy there is one (1) guaranteed parking space for each condo. All other additional parking spaces are limited and first-come, first-serve and are NOT guaranteed.

The condo at Pointe Santo’s view of the gulf was spectacular! We loved the spacious kitchen, updated master bath, w & d,rooftop deck & semi secluded lanai.
Only real complaints are that the living room furniture needs replaced, lumpy master bedroom mattress and the carpet is old & stained, needs tiled for ease of cleaning.
Can’t beat the many choices for great seafood & overall dining experience. Recommend new comer, MudBugs Cajun Kitchen, Sanibel Grill & The Mucky Duck.
Renting from Sanibel Holiday was easy, very pleasant staff.

Unit is generally as described, however some items are at the end of life and could use replacement. The master bedroom mattress, in particular was in poor condition and requires replacement. Also, there was a loud droning noise coming from a nearby rooftop HVAC unit.

This is the second year we stayed at this condo and are already booked for a third. We love this place! It is so much better than a cramped hotel.The condo is in great condition and we wanted for nothing. Point Santo is beautifully landscaped and centrally located. We love the 4th floor deck! It's great if you have kids who need a break and you want to still sit out. Can't wait until next year.

This was our third time staying in this condo and we were not disappointed. The unit is very clean as is the resort. I like how close the pool and beach are to the condo. It's a short walk so if you forget something you can easily access the unit. My college aged sons loved the volleyball court and played all week and met great people from all over the country. The pool is clean as is the hot tub. There could have been a few more items in the kitchen like a muffin pan but otherwise it was fully stocked. The staff onsite was very friendly and check in was easy. The beachfront is very nice. I would recommend this unit and resort to anyone looking for a nice place to stay. Also, the rooftop deck is a great place to watch the sunset and stars.

This was our first time staying at Pointe Santo although we have vacationed in Sanibel many times. We enjoyed the amenities and location of the complex, but were disappointed with D45. The bathrooms need a deep clean. There is a build up of mold in the showers and the tile floor was not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. The dresser drawers and kitchen cabinets all need cleaned out. I had to clean the dresser drawers before I could unpack our clothing.

We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful condo. We were there for 2 weeks without any problems. My sister-in-law felt like the full sized bed was too hard for her, but she bought an eggshell mattress cover, and was fine after that. I loved how all of the condos had a great view of the beach. The view from the rooftop was magnificent!

Great location on Sanibel, really nice complex with a great beach. Grounds are well maintained. Unit itself was clean, and basically nice. Beds were all very uncomfortable, not enough plates, bowls, to eat on; beautiful kitchen but not well equipped even for a rental. Loved the roof top; if you go in May and summer time get bug spray with deet for the evening...but once covered it was great!

Over the past 15 years I have rented multiple properties in Sanibel. I would put D45 as "average" or at least say I was hoping for more. The unit is rather dated, beds are squeaky and uncomfortable, furniture on the deck has deteriorated, bedding was lacking and amenities were scarce. Pointe Santo is a nice location and provides convenient access to island amenities. The pool is small so if that is important, this shouldn't be your first choice. Overall, it was fine but definitely not "wow".

This was our 10th visit to Sanibel and the 3rd time staying at Pointe Santo D45. It was absolutely wonderful! The only suggestion I might make is to upgrade the furniture on the roof deck. It is adequate, but not great. Everything else about this condo is fantastic. We hope to come again some day.

This condo was the most well-appointed condo ever - lots of appliances, dishes, glassware- more than an normal house! Sheets and towels were first class as was the furniture. Lots of little details made for a fabulous stay like all the beach chairs, toys, games, etc. Didn't need to pick up anything else but groceries! Condo feels well taken care of by owners - wouldn't guess it's a rental unit as it feels more like a real home. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Pointe Santo de Sanibel. This was our second time at this complex. Our previous visit was in a different building. We found this condo very comfortable, clean (except for stains on the living room carpet) and tastefully decorated. Everything was in working order. We loved the screened lanai and had most of our meals there. D45 has a spiral staircase that leads to the roof top and we enjoyed the views there.
However the master bedroom lacks sufficient storage. There is only a medium size closet in the bathroom and we found it too small to keep the clothes we had brought for two weeks. We were dissatisfied with the unsecure and slow WiFi network.
Pointe Santo is a great location and close to good restaurants. We rented bicycles and enjoyed riding them to the lighthouse, the Ding Darling Preserve and even to the Bailey's grocery store.

D45 at Pointe Santo de Sanibel was extremely clean and had ample accommodations for five of us. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the furnishings were comfortable. If view was great, and I was worried about that since it is not gulf front. I would rent this condo again in a heartbeat.
