We throughly enjoyed our stay at Sayana 101. Sayana has direct beach access. Landscaping is well-maintained and provides a sense of privacy. Good parking, nice outdoor shower and foot rinse. Unit 101 was beautifully decorated, casual & beach-appropriate. The master suite is fabulous, the "kids" room adequate. Very few issues with the unit. The garbage disposal clogs very easily. The comforter in the master suite was dusty(?), causing allergic reaction. But overall a nicely maintained unit. I would stay again.

Was a little disappointed the beautiful bed coverings were stuffed in the closets. White sheets and blankets on beds. No big deal just kinda made bedrooms look blah. Well equipped kitchen! Pool to myself all week which was nice! Beach used to be a lot wider but I remembered there was a lot of erosion a few years back. Check out the Farmers Market on Sunday! Wow! It was fantastic! Hopefully back next October with my sisters, my original travel mates.

We have been coming to Sanibel for thirty years and have always had a good experience except this year. We expected the property to be super clean due to Covid protocols and the pitch that you representative insisted were taken to make sure the property was clean and sanitized. What we found was leftover trash, ladies cosmetics left behind by the previous guests and ladies hair all over the blow dryer on the wall. The TV electronics were a problem. The remote had corroded batteries. Clearly they did not say what they claimed to do in sanitizing the unit. When I discussed all of this with the operations manager, she seemed to have a bit of an edge in her tone. Her questions seemed to be rather immature. lastly, the unit, which we had rented two years prior seemed tired. While the location is great, the rental company and unit seriously disappointed us.

The complex is just nine privacy is just about guaranteed. We love unit 101 for the tile floors and the upgrades to the kitchen and bath are great. The water pressure could be better. And we had to reset the breaker to the hot water heater so that we could have hot water....but aside from that, we love it.
There are 4 bikes made available and the owners make the unit so homey. We love the view and we love Sayannah.

We have been back here many times-- it's a clean, comfortable unit just steps to the beach or pool. We love riding bikes around the island and enjoy many favorite restaurants nearby. It's the perfect relaxing getaway.

Everything was very nice. The one exception was the cleanliness of the cutlery and pots and pans. The cutlery needed a good cleaning, not just in a dishwasher and one of the pots was somewhat dented and had food crusted on it. Oh, yes, the sound on the TV and or DVD would fade in and out at times indicating one or the other needed replacing. Those minor matters aside, the unit was well located and quite, something on which we place a high value.

Except for the washer/dryer hard to work and the air conditioner being noisy, it's a beautiful property. Maintenance came out once to repair. I have been going to Sanibel Island for 30 years and have stayed at many properties. This is very nice.

We were referred to Sayana as we were looking for a quieter location perhaps not as oriented to families with children. Now that it's just the two of us, we were looking for something away from the large resort atmosphere so we could just relax. We enjoyed our stay at Sayana. Positives: Our unit was large, clean and had absolutely everything we needed; the landscaping was beautiful and the exterior is well cared for; our unit even included bikes which was a huge plus! On the downside: the building was set back from the beach a bit further than the other locations we've stayed in the past, and the landscaping (although beautiful) provided obstructed views of the beach/ocean in both directions; the units are not too soundproof and there was quite a bit of noise coming from both units above us; major construction going on next door at Island Inn was also pretty loud. We spent most of our time at beach anyway, so we didn't let the noise get to us too much. I would probably stay in this unit again but maybe hope for quieter neighbors and no construction. :)
