The unit features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. Beach equipment provided.

Bright and comfortable, this unit retains the spirit of the owners, an oil painter and an avid shell collector, and it’s charmingly dotted with their work. The large lanai is a special spot for viewing the ocean, whether over coffee in the mornings or dinner at sunset. The sliding glass doors keep it enjoyable even in chilly weather and have hosted plenty of perfect Sanibel moments.

Just outside the doors you will find Sanibel’s beloved bike and walking paths, and the unit is close to prime birding spots including J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge and on-island golf courses.

The owner has furnished the unit with 2 TV’s, high speed Wi-Fi, beach equipment and washer/dryer. Sand Pointe is close to all of Sanibel's shopping, art galleries, dining and entertainment, making it the perfect place for your vacation. This apartment's furniture was in original condition. The sofa was not usable. It had cardboard holding the bottom. Management said they had ordered a new sofa but they did not warn us prior to renting the unit. Management did come whenever there was a problem, like the curtains fell down when trying pull them open, the carpet was soaked due to a rain storm, etc. Luckily we were not in the apartment very much, since we were on the beach most of the day. Would have been nice to sit in the living room.

Have stayed at sand pointe for many years and love the location. new condo this year as the one we used to stay in was no longer available. the unit was fine..a bit tired..weird things like stuff in the desk that looked like it belonged to someone...also a lot of stuff crammed into the closet of the back bedroom...desk, pictures, lots of quilts..made it hard to use. Also the exhaust fan in the back bedroom did not work. very minimal decor...family members staying in other condos there were very nicely decorated, this one...not so much. also the side window in the living area seems very old! when the wind would blow the shade moved back and forth, a lot of air coming through it!

Overall our experience was great!
We loved the lanai, especially the storm doors.
Loved the 3rd floor view.

Unfortunately the furniture in unit was really dated and uncomfortable and windows in the dining room and possibly living room (side) were in need of repairs
There was a lot of road noise because the window wouldn’t close.
Carpets were stained/dirty.
Kitchen was not well appointed.
We’d return if the items above were replaced.
Concerned that if the Sand Bar restaurant was open (closed for two months) it would be really loud.
Bathrooms and kitchen were very clean.

The furniture is old and the couch was broken with nails sticking out of it when we arrived. The mattress on the couch was worn out and not suitable for adults to sleep, our kids didn't mind. The sunshade on the window behind the couch was broken and on the floor. Some of the electrical outlets didn't work. It's in a great area this condo just needs some TLC, we loved the beach and the area. I would recommend the property but I would try to find a better updated unit.

We stayed in this condo for a week. It was spacious and the balcony is beautiful. I would suggest that the mirror in the main bath be attached or replaced. It is just leaning against the wall on the sink and seems dangerous. Also the living room furniture is very old and uncomfortable. The location is perfect. Close to restaurants and shopping. The walk to the beach is quick and easy. The elevator stopped working X2 which made it difficult moving out from the 3rd floor. However, Sanibel Holiday sent help and we were very appreciative of that. Overall I would stay here again. None of the things I described would prevent us from returning.

The property was exquisite. Sanibel holidays representative, Tatum made our movement from one property to the next, seamless, and got us a late checkout when we had a later flight. The condo was quiet, and roomy. The only thing I might suggest, are new knives, a new scissors, and a few softer blankets. These are details. Overall the property was our favorite vacation ever!

Having stayed at other properties on this site I would say this was not the best and needs a bit of an update especially in the bathroom areas.
We passed our views along to the rental office,especially the concern about having no blind at the kitchen end and a loose standing mirror and pictures above the room blinds.
All in all the complex itself is in a great location with a nice pool and just a few steps from the beach and a very short distance to Periwinkle way. We would not hesitate to recommend this site to anybody as I have done in the past on Trip Advisor and will gladly go there again.
